Error correction practice

Copy the paragraph below twice into a word document.  Find and correct the errors on the 2nd copy. First, use the spell checker. Second, use your own eyes. Third, consult with a partner. Highlight the errors on the 1st copy in red and the corrections in blue on the 2nd copy. Type the title - Error Correction, then your name and student # at the top of the page and save the document as a PDF and email it to Ms. MacGregor by Thursday May 8 at 12:00 noon. You have already bookmarked her email address, so it should be easy to find and send. If you did not, here is her address. Then, print it out and bring it to class on May 9 - do not forget to do that!

Errors
There are sevral typing, spelling, and formatting errors in this document, 10 infact. Can you find them? First of all, there were already two in the firstsentence. If you use the spell checker; it is easy to find them. Now, hear is a little more difficult one to pick up on the spell checker. You   might also have trouble finding these one too , I suppse, unless you do a carefull check with your own eyes. You should also review when to use a colon (:) and when to use a semicolon (;). Discuss the usage with partner and then confirm the usages of them with Ms. MacGregor today. Did you find all the errors?
